Colofac Frequently Asked Questions
1. What is Colofac IBS?
Colofac IBS tablets are white, round, and sugar coated.
2. Can I continue to drink alcohol?
Yes
3. Will they make me drowsy?
No - your responses will not be affected - you may still drive or operate machinery.
4. What happens if you take too many tablets
If you, or someone else, takes too many Colofac IBS tablets, you should contact a doctor immediately or go to the nearest hospital casualty department. Take the Colofac IBS pack with you.
5. How to store Colofac IBS tablets
Do not store your tablets above 30°C. Store in the original package. Do not take Colofac IBS after the expiry date. Keep all medicines where children cannot see or reach them. Return any unused tablets to a pharmacist.
6. What else can you do to help?
Whether or not you restrict your diet depends on the way IBS affects you. If you find that certain things bring on the symptoms, then it makes sense to avoid them. A high fibre diet may help, but ask your pharmacist for more information.
Some people find that learning to relax can help to reduce their symptoms of IBS. You may find it helpful to set aside a few moments each day to relax and gently unwind.
