Colpermin Product Information

For the relief of symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), such as spasm and cramps, that has been confirmed by your Doctor.

Directions
Adults over 15 years of age and elderly: 1 capsule should be taken 3 times daily with a glass of water. Do not take the capsules immediately after food. If the pain and discomfort is more severe, the dose can be increased to a maximum of 2 capsules 3 times a day.

Under 15 years and children: not suitable.

Do not exceed the stated dosage.

If you miss a dose, take the next on at the right time, do not double the next dose.

These capsules maybe needed for only a week or two, but sometimes the pain or discomfort may persist. If discomfort and pain lasts for more than 2 weeks, then you are advised to contact your Doctor.

Under your Doctors advice, symptoms that persist may be treated for 2-3 months.

If you take too many capsules or a child take your capsules, contact a Doctor straight away.

Ingredients

Sustained release enteric coated capsule containing: Peppermint oil 0.2ml.
Other ingredients: gelatine, colloidal silica, titanium dioxide, indigotine, Eudragit L, Eudragit S, triethyl citrate, ammonia, monostearin, polyethyleneglycol 4000, talc,purified water, beeswax, refined arachis (peanut) oil.

Warnings

Not recommended for children under 15 years. Swallow whole to prevent local irritation of the mouth or oesophagus (gullet). The diagnosis of IBS should be confirmed by a doctor before taking an IBS treatment.
Do not take this product if you are allergic to peanuts.

Side Effects

Side effects are rare but should you experience any side effects report to your doctor or pharmacist. Very rarely heartburn or anal irritation can occur. If you taned to get heartburn and Colpermin capsules make the symptoms worse, please contact your Doctor.

In very rare cases where someone is allergic to peppermint oil or menthol, rash, headache, slow pulse rate, clumsiness and shaking can occur. This is more likely to happen after alcoholic drink.

Store in a cool dry place out of direct sunlight. Do not use after the “exp. Date”

Based on above dosage pack will last between 16.6 days and 33.3 days.
