1. What is Saccharomyces Boulardii?

Saccharomyces boulardii is a non-pathogenic yeast that is recognized to have probiotic effectiveness used alone and/or in combination with other probiotics to support digestion. It usefulness was discovered by a group of French physicians investigating intestinal issues.

2. Are there any side effects from taking Saccharomyces boulardii?

Saccharomyces boulardii is generally well tolerated; however, if any of the following symptoms occur, then stop and contact your physician: hives, rash, or itchy swollen skin, breathing problems or tightness in throat or chest. These symptoms may indicate an allergic reaction which may require medical attention or require that the product be discontinued. Other possible side effects may include gastrointestinal symptoms such as flatulence (gas) and constipation.
