Lp299v is a highly speciailised, probiotic strain of bacteria that is a member of the Lactobacillus family of microorgansims.

2. What is it used for:
Extensive scientific research has shown that Lp299v can help reduce the symptoms of Irritable Bowel syndrome (IBS). It has also been shown to boost the immune system, maintain the health of the heart and reduce the incidence of diarrhoea.

3. How does it work?
Lp299v has the specific ability to adhere to the wall of the intestine and form a physical barrier against pathogenic bacteria. It can increase the production of fuel for intestinal cells and can reduce the severity and duration of IBS symptoms.

4. Is it resistant to stomach acid?
This strain of bacteria is highly resistant to stomach acids and therefore passes into the intestine unharmed.

5. How much should you take?
It is recommended that supplements should contain at least 1 billion viable bacteria per capsule.
