Senokot Original Indications

Relief of occasional or non-persistent constipation.

Directions

Adults and children over 12: 2 tablets at night. Children: not recommended except on medical advice. Maximum of 2 tablets in any 24 hour period. Do not exceed the stated dose.
This dosage can be repeated daily until bowel action is restored. If you do not have a bowel motion within 3 days, please contact your Doctor.

Ingredients

Tablet containing: Senna, standardised 7.5mg.
Other ingredients: calcium phosphate, maize starch, lactose and magnesium stearate.

Warnings

If laxatives are needed everyday or there is persistent abdominal pain, consult your doctor. If you are pregnant consult your doctor before use.

Speak to your Doctor if you take too many tablets, or if you are intolerant to some sugars.

Do not use Senokot if:
ƒx Your abdomen (tummy) is tender to touch or hurts when you move
ƒx You have sharp or persistent stomach pain

Side Effects

When taking this medicine, temporary mild griping may occur. If you experience any unwanted effects or take more than the recommended dose consult your doctor or pharmacist.

Do not use after the expiry date.
Store in a cool dry place out of direct sunlight.
Keep out of the sight and reach of children.

Based on the above dosage, this pack of 100 will last 50 days.
